
TACTICAL CLINICAL OPERATIONS COURSE


THE MISSION
The past few years have fundamentally rewritten the rules of combat casualty management and our approach to it. A lot of data has been gathered, a lot of experiences have been made.
Based on the valuable lessons learned from these conflicts all around the globe, this course aims to provide the student with comprehensive trauma management skills in an austere prehospital setting as well as an unconventional clinical environment.

THE COURSE
The course will be held in hybrid mode with an eLearning section and an in-person section. The practical section It is a combination of classroom training interlaced with manual skill exercises at critical points to fortify the understanding of the material.
Multiple skill labs are held throughout the course and every day ends with an open training session where students can revise the material with their peers or talk with the instructor cadre if desired.
The last day culminates with a complex night-time casualty care exercise where students will take care of critical casualties in small teams under the realistic environmental circumstances of a deep-immersion simulation scenario.

THE EXAM
After completing the course students can attempt a written exam.
The practical skills are evaluated based on the skill labs throughout the course as well as the performance during the final exercise.

After passing the exam and completing all skill labs successfully students will be presented with a passing certificate.
