TELEMEDICINE
THE NEED
In February 2022, the Russian Army launched a full-scale war on the sovereign nation of Ukraine. This operation quickly led to the overtaxing of the Ukrainian healthcare system. As a result, access to healthcare assets was almost instantly made largely unavailable.
THE SOLUTION
Recognizing the need to facilitate rapid access to medical capabilities in those austere areas, we established a grassroots, community-based Telemedicine Service. This service operates entirely through volunteers on a pro-bono basis and can be accessed free of charge by anyone requiring help.
THE TEAM
The community supporting this initiative comprises a diverse group of subject matter experts. Our multidisciplinary team encompasses many aspects of medicine, focusing on emergent care of the sick and injured in an austere environment. All the while, we are actively expanding our capabilities in pediatric care, surgical specialities, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychological and even veterinary care.
OUR VISION
As the needs of the people affected by this conflict evolve, we adapt to the ever-changing environment by broadening our reach to people and organizations operating in Ukraine. The goal is to offer prompt, effective and high-quality medical support that is both safe and intuitive for end-users of all levels of medical expertise.
