KEY DATA

The Basic Prolonged Care (BPC) Course is an introductory course for personnel who might have to perform and assist with medical tasks in austere, resource-deprived environments.

The main objective of the program is to enable non-medics to work in a prolonged casualty care (PCC) setting, such as in a stabilization point or on their own under telemedical guidance.

This course is designed as an entry point into the area of prolonged casualty care and develops the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully provide basic, evidence-based-based care in such an environment.

TARGET AUDIENCE

  • Members of the military

  • Law enforcement operatives

  • Responsible civilians

  • Personnel operating in remote environments (pilots, aircrew members, offshore workers, etc.)

  • Civilian medical personnel without prior tactical medical training (doctors, nurses, etc.)

  • Personnel seeking a refresher before our TCO course

We recommend registering as a group so you can collaborate during the course with the same people you work with professionally.
